ok I'm new to this forum and to this computer. I'm Larry by the way.

So version 10.6.8 is what I have I don't know if that old but I'm guessing yes.

I wanted to update but I wanted to know if that would slow down my computer? I know the iPad does get slower .

Any links or info on how to find the wifi in this computer. I connect the Internet wire to the back so it's good but is there a wifi option or its to old. Thank u guys for the help

For OSX, I assume your Mac Pro still using HDD. Yes, the newer OS will slow down your Mac. However, the solution is simple. Upgrade to SSD and may be add some more RAM.
