First Mac, put the iLife disc in, won't eject... :(

So this is my first mac and I was looking for a little help, i put in the iLife CD and now it seems like its trying to spin but stops, and when I hit the eject button, it won't do anything, any advice?

Reboot and hold the trackpad button at the boot chime.

iLife is already installed so you dont need to install it again. have you tried holding the eject key rather than just tapping it?

LOL thanks for the help guys 🙂 I am learning as I go but enjoying every moment of it! I backed up all my music from iTunes on my PC to blank DVDs through itunes, I bet my machine won't take the cd if I had to guess?

If won't take your CDs then you need to get your computer exchanged/replaced/refunded.
