Hi!

I'm a 10+ years Windows system admin and last night I purchased my first Mac! I've been interested in getting a MacBook Pro for awhile, however the "Apple Tax" has somewhat prevented me from making the purchase. However, I received a small bonus at work and after discussions with my wife (and a company discount), I made the journey to the local Apple store, and purchased a 13" i5 MacBook Pro.

First, I have to say getting it at the Apple store was neat. When the sales rep found out it was my first Mac, I was given "congratulations" and handshakes/high fives from store employees.

So far I've been impressed with it. My only complaint has been getting my MX Revolution mouse to work. The Logitech software keeps saying "no Logitech device found". I hope to get this working as I really love the MX Revolution!

At first, I also couldn't stop using my mouse, but got used to the Trackpad rather quick.

Congrats on your first Mac!

I've got carpel tunnel (years of computer work!) so using the trackpad for extended periods of time starts to both my wrist.
