First Mac

So I just ordered my very first mac today 😀. I've never really used macs, usually just played around with my friends' MPB. Anybody care to give me some advice when I first set it up? Like apps and general things like that. I read almost everything at Apple Support and the beginners guide here.

I feel like dying waiting for the delivery...
