First pics taken with the iPhone 4 camera

So what do you think? Is the quality ok for a 5Mp camera or could it be better?

They look pretty darn good, considering the inherent limitations of cell phone cameras.

They look noisy, but still quite good. Even if those shots were taken with the iPhone, they were still taken by a pro who knows how to make the best of the light source, shadows, etc...

Let's wait for amateur shots and I'd like to see a comparison with the Nokia N95 8GB with it's 5MP camera.

Looks good. And it doesn't take a pro to shoot properly exposed pictures, just have a steady hand and do not shoot at noon nor against the sun.

I'm Pretty sure that he means they haven't been enhanced in any way.. Smearing a logo you don't want to give free advertising for has no bearing on the quality of the image.

Pffff! thats nothing look at the noise on this picture taken with my 3G.

It shows Dora and kitten Pepper at 1 week old, the noise was "Meeeow Meoww" from Dora and "Squeek!" from Pepper.

Why oh why would I need a new iPhone?

That's funny, because all of the Ray Ban Aviators have them on the top corner of the right lens.
Those don't even look like Ray Ban Aviators, the arm near the lens is different.

I just looked at the full sized samples. Noisy images but great for a phone camera. I'm glad they kept the MP count reasonable.
