No worries, I'm just being a film snob...as usual.

Here are some of my from my film scans I scanned a few weeks ago. If i could get my slides developed for free, I would shoot film a TON more

They look very nice, though I doubt the scans do the slides' color full justice. Where are you shooting? Great scenery... If you haven't shot 6x6 or larger, it's worth giving a try with velvia. I find a lot of velvia's problems (grain, blocky blacks) aren't really issues with medium format in quite the same way.

An interesting reply to a question I couldn't begin to answer! We're wavering off topic, but the OP may be interested: what exactly is your background?

My background is pretty boring: I've worked on a few micro-budget films and now can't really find work, for a number of reasons. I've always had a very good memory for technical details is all. Hopefully it will serve me well at some point.
