I decided to shower with my Sport model watch this morning. (I Have AppleCare+) As I was showering, the phone rang and I answered it. Had to hold close to my ear due to the sound of the shower. It worked like a charm, no damage whatsoever! Then I placed a call just to try it...worked well.

Just stating fact. Tim Cook showers with his...and I have missed several semi-important phone calls in the past from my wife while showering.

YMMV

You must take some long showers :p I can see how it would be useful...though I probably wouldn't answer if it wasn't someone I knew well.

Actually last Saturday I had my first ever. It was my dad and I needed to talk to him. Just cut the water off and was on the phone. It was a little strange but very convenient.

I think that's cool....if mine ever ships - I may do that?

First shower & shower phone call!

Had you always bathed or washed from a basin before this? Either way, welcome to the power of shower!

My wife likes baths, I happen to like showers:cool:

This whole showering with your Watch obsession thing isn't getting creepy... nope, not creepy at all.

I got the Classic Buckle band, which is leather, so showers are out for me unless I get a sport band as a secondary.

I'm wondering how my SS link bracelet would hold up. I think it'll be fine, but I'm worried about the chemicals from the soap and shampoo. I could always swap it out for a sports band in the shower.

1. Take watch off
2. Switch out band
3. Put watch on
4. Hop in shower
5. Take off watch
6. Change band back to leather
