First time mac notebook buyer, being a Programmer

Hey gekko513, thats exactly the kind of response I was expecting to hear!
Right, so Expose does seems to take a performance hit.

FFTT omg! :p, that would be way out of my budget :) I already own a Shuttle XPC and I just wanted a Mac to work at home and since I got a desktop I prefer to go for a notebook, that is why Im looking at the iBook ;)
