First time MacBook buyer and need some help!

This is my first time buying a MacBook and I need some help.

What are the main specs I should be looking for in a MacBook, MacBook Pro, etc.??? Pros and cons?

I am familiar with specs but I don't know what models are best to look for? Like generations?

I am on a budget so most likely an older model would benefit me but if its better to invest an extra $100 or so into a newer model, please let me know!

Any information on MacBook would help me out lots!!! ;)

I think one of the key factors is deciding what size you want, your needs and how much you have to spend?

i'd go with getting one now or a refurb later if i were you, its jsut a waiting game with apple really
