Fit difference between 2nd and 3rd generation?

How different is the fit between the 2nd and 3rd generation Airpods? I’ve never loved the feel of the 1st/2nd generation, though I have trouble with devices in my ears anyway. That said, I need some to use on occasion, and was wondering if the 3rd gen were more comfortable.

Not interested in the pros - just don’t need to spend that kind of money for relatively little use.

not at all, the first two iterations sat inside of your ear, this 3rd Gen occupy all that space to a point if you smile, chew or frown they'll fall or come lose, they sound great, had a pair for a few weeks because I loved how they sounded, but fit was horrible

I actually went to an Apple store today and tried some on - definitely a no-go.

good alternative: senheiser or Bose both sound better and way more comfortable

If you like them for music and sound quality get those, if you want all rounders, Get the AirPods Pro 2
