Fitbit on an iPhone 16e

I use a Fitbit Versa 4 for fitness tracking. A few days ago, Google replaced the Fitbit app with their own "Google Health" train wreck. So I want to start using Apple's Health app, and poking around on Google AI tells me it's possible and easy to link the Versa 4 with my 16e to Apple Health. As I go through what appears to be a simple process, does anyone have any sage words of advice? TIA
