Fitness band connection issues

I personally use a jawbone up2 fitness band and it uses the low power connectivity for Bluetooth to sync. Normally when I'd open up the app it would reconnect to the band and sync my progress.

Ever since using ios10 it no longer connects to the band automatically. It says connecting but it never actually connects. The Bluetooth symbol in the upper corner of the phone screen remains faded out. I've tried turning on and off the Bluetooth to try to trigger it and it still won't connect.

The only way to make it connect is by re-pairing The app and the band together every single time I reopen the app. If you leave the app open and it hasn't timed out due to inactivity, then it continues to work fine. If it times out and the Bluetooth symbol on the phone goes faded then you need to re-pair it through the app.

It's not something that inhibits the use of either product as it is really easy to re-pair, but it is a bit of a pain in the butt. Has anybody else noticed any problems with fitness bands of any sort not wanting to reconnect to the Bluetooth? I have reported this with every new version of iOS 10 but it has yet to be fixed. I'm wondering if it's and issue that would be to be fixed with the new version of the app rather than something Apple could fix within iOS 10...

Known issue about Jawbone , yes , the band does not stay pair to the phone at all , it renders it useless . I have contacted support ( Jawbone) and they are aware of this problem ,but seems that they are very slow to respond to it . Is just ashamed that this company seems to be slow catching up with new OS releases . I was told their engineers are working on a fix. ( that was a month ago ) . Maybe is finally true that they are getting out of this business ( Jawbone) , but at least they should support the upcoming OS 10 . Maybe they will . The app has been updated twice since OS 10 beta was released , but it did not fixed this problem , I like Jawbone cause it compliments the Apple Watch perfectly and the app works with multiple fitness apps

I find it so much nicer looking and less bulky and fitness band-y than fitbits. Like you can still wear it when you're more dressed up.

So I submitted a ticket to jawbone and they sent me a thing back saying it's not compatible with iOS 10 beta try using a different operating system or wait till it's out of beta. LOL and something along the lines of they sent it to the devs to get to their developers to see if they can reproduce the problem LOL, and that if they can They'll try to implement a fix in the future app update. Considering it's not that long until I was 10 is out of beta you would think that they would've started fixing crap by now LOL
