    As ridiculous as it may sound, I cannot stand having only 4 icons. I have searched long and far across the web. Is there any update to getting Five Icon Dock for 3.0?

    Installing it currently causes the icons to be misaligned to the left.

    Thanks,

    L

    I've got Five Icon Dock and Five Icon everything else. Little bit busy on the second page, but I only care about page one:

    Wow, I know its a personal preference thing, but how the hell do you use that jailbroken iPhone? For me the icons are ugly, ok, maybe not terribly bad, but definitely distracting and hard to see. Not too sure about the xp-esque wallpaper either. For once I see the sense in Apple neutral black thing.

    Whenever I jailbroke my iPhone I would just keep the stock UI and use just the additional features I could gain.

    I find it's all about personal preference for me. I like the iStorm theme but I don't like the clutter as some have mentioned, hence my homescreen. I like to change my theme several times a month and I am constantly using Cycorder and Pixelpipe and until the iPhone officially develops video and media to make the video available to friends and family in an expedited manner, I'll continue to jailbreak. I'm from the old school and don't feel JB is for everyone...:cool:

    ah
    perfect storm
    my favorite theme to date
    (it looks much better when set up the way it is intended to though...4 icons)

    I don't use jailbreak anymore, however. The only benefit for me was winterboard, and that caused too much lag

    I agree that jailbreaking is becoming increasingly unnecessary. The 3.0 betas are aiming the iphone in a very good direction in my opinion. However, I still need jailbreak for 5 icon dock & springboard, status notifier (this needs to come standard in the os) and winterboard. If I had those (even minus winterboard) jailbreaking would be non existent in my life.

    Personally for me it's SBS settings. I can't stand having to go into the preferences to toggle my wifi, bluetooth, airplane mode etc. I especially like how you can load it within apps without quitting them. I can't tell you how many times mail has gotten stuck and i'd have to go into settings toggle stuff come out go back, having a persistent drop down window with all the toggles and an extra dock is something I really can't stand to be without anymore.

    Heh. Really? There I was thinking they were aimed at 5 year old kids :rolleyes:

    Edit: MY EDIT DISAPPEARED! :mad::(:mad:

    ANNNYYWAY. Why does everyone always complain about themes? If you don't like using them , then don't. It's that simple. Personally, I like the Perfect Storm theme, it's just that I dislike a theme that requires me to use blank icons.
