Honestly I don’t think any of these third party camera apps hold any huge amount of value until you can make it the default.

Don’t get me wrong, all of these camera apps are fantastic, I personally use ProCam and Filmic Pro.
However honestly 99.5% I go for the stock camera app since it’s just a swipe away on the lock screen.

Agree. The stock app is pretty good these days as well and has most things I'd need.

For video, Filmic Pro is the best. It can communicate with popular gimbals, and supports shooting in Log for a higher dynamic range.

Filmic Pro is by far one of the best apps I have ever purchased for my phone. So many advanced features and yep, it works perfectly with this Smooth 4 gimbal I got this past Xmas.

If you want to up your camera game... don't use any phone. Use a real camera.

LOL, that's true and my old 5D MarkIII will always be my number 1 go to camera. especially night shots and so so many other features a DSLR can do. Daytime iPhone "portraits" aren't horrific, yeah it needs work and I think were getting that perhaps in IOS13? Last night, the iPhone HAD to be my go to camera though - which was a tad upsetting. Quick run to target, as I left the sunset was absolutely unreal, so...iPhone has to do.
