Fix an air hinge and screen?

My buddy offered to sell me his 13inch MacBook air. Not 100% sure on specs but I know it has a 128gb SSD. Problem is screen flickers and the hinge is broken. Does anyone know how much that would cost to fix, preferably in £ (pounds) so I know how much it would cost to fix before I think about making him an offer?
