Fix for 4.3.1 Issue with BB 1.59 showing only 1 bar?

I'm also looking for a fix but without having to install Ultrasnow since I'm on AT&T.

The update to ultrasn0w will fix the 1 bar issue and all the other issues that the older BB on 4.3.1 causes but it won't unlock your phone unless you want it to. MuscleNerd said on twitter that it will skip the unlock process and just apply their patch unless you need the unlock.

What update to ultrasnow? How can you update something that you dont have installed in the first place?
I assume he means the update to UltraSnow in Cydia, right now it's 1.2 and the next update to it should have the fix.
I'm waiting as well, just put 4.3.1 on my phone and all is great except for the no bars issue. It's not really that big of a deal but it would be a nice if it was fixed.
I also searched for this guy but found nothing. Why don't you post the URL to this forum since no one can find through searching?

As i understand it from MN twitter is that Ultrasnow update 1.3 imminent release would fix the 1 bar issue:

Is that what you're talking about? If so it doesnt work. I already tried it a few days ago before I even heard of this crystal-rx guy. It allows the unlock to work (which is useless to me since I have at&t), but the signal strength remains stuck at 1 bar. Next time just tell us what it's called so we don't have to waste our time searching for something that's already known not to work.
Oh well, ultrasn0w 1.2.1 should be out later tonight. That'll hopefully do the trick

The update is ultrasnow only because is for people that preserve the baseband. People with official carriers do not need to preserve baseband so if you have 1 bar re jailbreak again and update baseband and the 1 bar problem will go away.

Maybe people like to to preserve their baseband and unlocking capabilities.

Ultrasn0w shouldn't cause any ill effects even on AT&T.
Your phone is sim activated, so it should be good.
No reason not to install ultrasn0w no matter what carrier you're on. I run it all the time on my AT&T phone with no ill effects.
I heard it messes up visual voicemail and MMS with some users also the deamon process always running in the back using up battery to unlock while using it on official carrier is pointless IMO.
So you think the only way to fix this bug would be by keeping ultrasnow installed?
And can you install ultrasnow to fix it and then remove it or will it go back to the same 1 bar only after you uninstall?
