Besides having a heat sink and a fan on my brink now I'm pleased to say it doesn't even get warm.

Its not a big problem having it attached when I travel i just wrap the fan cord on the two prongs on the brick and dont use it. The problem is when I game at home or watch movies for a long time. So its not a bother when my laptop is home and I can move the brick to a save place and plug in the fan.

sorry for double post i posted in the wrong thread first

If your AC adapter is overheating you shouldn't be using it.

I had it overheat once but it was my fault. It was under a pillow and i slept on it while watching a movie. It doesn't overheat in normal conditions. But it does get hot; they all get hot. Since this one is just used when I'm on my laptop at home I decided to add the processor cooler just for the fun of keeping it cool. At least i believe this way i will get a longer life out it anyway.

I just though it was a cool mod and posted it. pun intended

Haha. Ok. Just making sure you weren't doing this because it was necessary to keep it working.

Some of these creative posts on here are awesome, I'm noticing all the things people do ON TOP of buying a really expensive :apple: product.

Obviously there is a great satire somewhere out there waiting to happen:

"Buy Apple, build your own externals to keep em functioning to your liking, because you get what you paid for, you should have paid over 3000 bucks to really be completely productive with our products suckas!"
