Yes, I know. Possibly the MOST redundant thing written on the iPhone forums of Macrumors. However, I'm serious whenever I ask this question. How can I remove the 'Other' files down to a reasonable amount (<.5 GB)?

I have PhoneView, and have the trial version of DiskAid, I was wondering what that 'Other' space could be. Surely, 6 months of texts couldn't possibly take up that much storage!

The creepiest part of this whole thing is, I used to have 7 GB of photos/video, but recently cleared out nearly 5 GB of video, and yet my 'Other' has shot up from 1.8 GB, to 2.4 GB.

*I even tried the whole 'Reset Warning' thing, as shown in a YouTube video with a pretty favorable like:dislike ratio.

**If any of you give me things such as "clear out the iTunes_Control folder," please back up your reason for this. I don't want to delete all of the numbered 'F' files (F01, F02, etc.) and possibly risk losing ALL of my music. Unless you're sure that this really works with ZERO risk of losing music, please, inform me.
