For people doing a trade in at the store (not through mail), are you selecting yes for trade on the pre preorder? Can we select no trade in and then change our mind at the store? I don’t want to send my phone through the mail if they can accept trade in at the store.
 
Planning to preorder the iPhone 16 Pro Max tomorrow morning. This is my first time preordering… how has Bestbuy been typically in the past?

Can I expect to get it near release day? Should I go with Apple instead?

I’d prefer to buy it through best buy because I’m not 100% sure if I’m keeping the Pro Max (might exchange for the pro), it would be easier for me to return it as I don’t have an Apple Store nearby.

Second question… anybody know if Fido would let me preorder and pay full price through their website? I have the Rogers MC so I’d get a higher cash back reward if I purchased here/

Appreciate any help!

I talked to Apple support about it. They said you have 14 days window to change your mind and do the trade in. I don’t want to send my phone through the mail either. let’s See what happens next week
 
Done! Worked on the dot for the app. 256 Desert Titanium 16 pro max ordered for pickup at Marketmall Calgary.

Done. Arrives Monday the 23rd with Shipping. Done via windows on browser (leveraging Aeroplan e-shop to gain points), 2 phone preorders, took 4 separate sign ins to complete the transaction.

Smoothest checkout in years. I found refreshing the app works, but this is the first time actually staying on the page worked too, it actually refreshed the site and let you check out. Works on my matchbook pro, iPad Pro and iPhone. Usually you have to force the reload.

06:05 - Alberta - iPad App worked before iPhone. Browser still not loading. Got 256gb Pro in White and 512gb Pro Max in Black - pickup in store!
 
Web loaded first for me before the app, and the Pre loading option didn't seem to make it any quicker

iPhone 16 - Teal - 128, for Friday
iPhone 16 Pro - Black - 128, for Monday (though these usually still show on the Friday)

Mine also shows Sept 23rd. I have a feeling it's my postal code, as I recently moved to a new construction neighbourhood (changing the postal code moves it to Sept 20th). I think someone on here last year said their orders always show the Monday date but still arrive Friday.
