I'm curious if anyone is seeing this lately...

I have the iPad Pro Gen 2 model and the Apple Pencil. Over the past few months, I've noticed some flakiness with the connectivity and charging. For some strange reason, it will stop responding, even though it still shows up as paired. The only way to get it to respond is to delete the Bluetooth profile and re-pair the pencil.

Today, I noticed a second anomaly. The pencil was taking forever to charge. I unplugged it and re-plugged it, but it would take ten minutes to move one percentage point on the charge bar. Again, the only way to fix it was to delete the Bluetooth profile and re-pair the pencil. After that, it charged full in a matter of minutes.

Has anyone noticed this and does anyone have any solutions? The iPad is current at 12.4.1.

iOS 13 is buggy. General recommendation is, if not already upgraded, wait until Tuesday, Sept 24th and then upgrade to iOS 13.1. IIRC, that's also the release date for iPad OS.
