I've animated an on the spot walk cycle in Flash cs5, with my character's bodyparts on different layers. I now want to move him across the screen and zoom in and out - Is there an easier way to do this other than moving and enlarging him frame by frame??

I'm told that movie clips and tweening can help, but nothing I have tried has worked.

Thanks.

if i understand you correctly...

quite simple.

copy all that you have into a single movie clip
in a blank canvas put that movie clip and tween it.

you probably having difficulties as to copying all the layers to a movie clip ?
so:
1 select all the frames in all the layers that you have now instead of apple C , hit OPT + apple +C
2 hit apple F8 to create new blank symbol
3. now paste all that layers and frame in the new symbol using OPT + APPLE + V ( select a frame within that new symbol first )
now you have a movieclip with all your animation and layers ... drag it to canvas and tween it.
