Flash crashes - Error of Type 2 has occured

Has anyone come across this problem before. When using Flash the application crashes and this error report comes up.
Error of Type 2 has occured. Save your work in another application.

Someone told be it's a probably a problem with the running system.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Very thorough Robbie, if you knew the answer you probably could have typed it as quick as your complaint.

Had posted query in Mac Basic initially then saw this forum more appropriate I thought this was a place to get help not a place to make people feel superior about themselves!
