flash doesn't recognize isight

it is irritating on my 21.5 inch imac that flash player recognizes my built-in isight but does not use it.. i set it to allow it to use the webcam, then i make sure it chooses built-in isight, but it doesn't work. Please help!! I have uninstalled and installed and have tried the 64-bit flash player. nothing is working!! and am using google chrome 9. (Beta)

Have you tried Safari or FF? I've not had an issue with Safari or FF's Flash using the iSight.

i just tried with safari, and the light turned on next to the camera, but after that, the flash player plugin crashed. then i tried firefox and it didn't even work.. 🙁

If you have the Googletalk plugins installed in Library/Quicktime (at least I think it's there... not sure. Google it) get rid of them. They break how flash works with iSight for some reason.

I had the same problem a while ago. After I reinstalling flash I figured it was some sort of plug in issue.
