Hey, so I recently got a 2GB Kingston flash drive from my mom; it was just laying around in her office so she let me have it.

Anyways... the first 5 minutes I had it connected to my Macbook were fine. I copied over ~10 documents and still had 1.98 GB left.

After awhile, files wouldn't copy over. It'd take a long time and eventually the file couldn't be transferred because the flash drive had ejected itself. It also has the habit of reconnecting itself again if I leave it in the USB slot; but then of course ejected on its own again.

This doesn't happen with any other USB devices I use, is my flash drive just defected? :\

Possibly defective or has some bad connection. Is there a light on it that you see go off and on when it loses its connection?
