Can you guys let me know which flash drives work with the macbook air without the need for a dongle?
I've used Sandisk Cruzers, and Lexars without issue. I've also used others that I don't have the make/models of without problem. Actually, I've only tried using one that didn't work.
See: Flash Drive Size
It's fairly inexpensive and very compact. It's been perfect for me so far.
if i could just stop losing them though...
Sandisk Cruzer works. 256, 512, 1 GB all work for me.
I use a PNY 8GB Flash Drive with no problems. I think it's the Attaché model.
Lexar Jumpdrive works fine. I've used many flash drives and still haven't found one that doesn't fit. I guess only the super cheap big plastic boxy ones won't work...any "modern" flash drive should be small enough to fit in there.
Thanks for all the input everyone, can you guys tell me if this jump drive will work without issues?
Did you read comment #2?
Yea but there are many different sandisk cruzers in different form factors.
I have used Kingston, Sandisk, Lexar and they all fit.
I've seen and have had great usability with Sandisk Cruzers
