Flash-Free MBP, no more Overheating

    Well, Youtube has offered HTML5 for nearly one and a half years now. ClickToFlash is also great.

    Is now solved..? Look at the date of the article you linked to.

    I also use ClickToFlash in Safari, but I really prefer YouTube's regular flash based player. In my experience, loading videos is much faster than with the QuickTime plugin, so I have youtube.com in the whitelist of ClickToFlash's preferences.

    If your mbp is upto date software wise then I do not think your overheating is flash related.

    Well... I'm sorry, I wasn't aware of that...
    And yes my macbook is up to date and was still overheating.
    Just trying to help here.
    And flash still sucks.

    - Perhaps you did help someone. It was not my intention to be hard on you, at all - I do apologize if it seemed so.
    And you're right, Flash does suck.
