Flash from 4,1 to 5,1 won’t work.

Hi, I’m new to macrumors but have just read that this is the place to be for the issue I have.
I know I’m late to the party here as I’m trying to flash my 2009 Mac from 4,1 to 5,1.
I have followed any number of you tube videos on the subject right down to the letter but with no success.
I understand that it could be down to the Boot ROM version which is
MP41.0081.B07
Any help on this matter will be much appreciated.

I have the same problem and also new to MacRumors. My boot ROM ends in B08, however.
