Hi, I have a problem with Flash. I recently tried to watch videos at The Escapist and was unable to. This has been happening since about Friday last week. I also have found that I am unable to play some flash games. I also found that I can't watch videos at Veoh. I tried to adjust my preferences in the Flash Global Settings Manager to accept third party cookies so that I can do these things.

It isn't working. The boxes won't check. Is anybody else having this problem? If so what did you do about it?

This problem only occurs on my MacBook. I am still able to do these things on a Windows xp desktop I have in the same house.

Having the same issue. Same in all browsers; Opera, Firefox, Safari. Upgraded to latest version of Flash, same issue. Anyone have a clue? :/

I have the same problem. Any solution?

Problem solved:

This is a fix for quite a few mac flash 10 problems I noticed people talking about on the internet.

I know this is getting old but make sure you fix permissions first. Then in your home folder delete the Flash Player folder that is inside both Library/Caches/Adobe and Library/Preferences/Macromedia.

For some reason Flash Player is unable to properly write data to those folders even after an uninstall and reinstall. This is probably due to corruption of the folders. I think Adobe should try to find out what causes the corruption after an upgrade.
