iPod Flash new nano interface to 2G nano?

Is it likely that someone will figure out how to take the interface from the new nanos and somehow flash them onto a 2G nano?
That'd be sweet, wouldn't it!?

probably woudlnt look too great on the small screen. otherwise id have said yes. the ipod video 5.5g though..

No way.

The new nanos are a completely new OS and hardware from the old ones. To get the new interface would require actually rewriting it for the old hardware. Never gonna happen.
