Flash Player 1080p problems

Hi,

I've just been trying to watch some 1080p videos on youtube but my computer is really struggling with them. When i try and watch i just get the rainbow wheel and video doesnt play.. i can hear the audio.

I have the latest version of flash player and tried in firefox and chrome. Any ideas? it wont be hardware issue as im running:

10.6.8
2.66 ghz i7
4gb ram ddr3
Solid state harddrive

Plays fine for me on my mid 2010 MBP C2D. Good internet connection probably helps.

Internet speed isn't an issue

I am having the same issue. just that my iMac can't even play the lowest resolution properly. definitely not an internet issue.

i bought my iMac like 2 months ago. i had also reinstall flash and restart but it just doesn't work.

anyone know how to solve this?

Try enabling HTML5 (it's still beta).
