ok so recently iv been trying some different browsers. i like safari but theres a few things about it that make me not want to use it.

iv been using firefox lately and love its look/features. really everything about it. except its a ****ing dog on my macbook. well not really that is a dog but it really consumes a lot more cpu power and memory than any other browser i have tried. that pretty much ruins it for me.

i then tried camino, which i thought ran nicely and i liked. besides the fact its a little bare boned as far as features.

i also tried chrome and it was ok but i dont like feeding google with anymore information than i have to.

now about the flash. every single browser besides safari eats my cpu when playing flash. when playing a youtube video on safari my cpu is at 12-20% each core (dual core), so 24-40% in total cpu consumption. when playing a youtube vid with any other browser my cpu is anywhere from 29-38% each core. so 58-76% cpu consumption in total. why is it that all other browsers besides safari are acting this way???

is there a way i can somehow get all flash to switch to an mp4 quicktime player or something? someone please help.

I have noticed that flash makes the fa come on my MacBook and the CPU gets plenty hot.

yeah i know this but that doesn't address the issue i stated in why other browsers consume more cpu with flash than others.
