I've been noticing recently that when using flash sites, the temperature of my Mac increases dramatically (approx 10C) and the fan starts up. This happens using both Camino (my default browser) and Safari. I have the latest version of both browsers and the flash plugin, and I'm using a Powerbook G4 (1.5Ghz, 1.5GB RAM, running Tiger).
As this seems to be purely a flash issue, I'm wondering whether there is a better plugin available than the 'official' version I'm running. It seems odd that it can't cope properly with such a basic task.
