    flash is slow....

    my suggestion

install an extension called "flash block" for firefox, set it to "block all by default", you can enable the one you want when necessary.

Make sure you are using the latest version of Flash. If you are using an Intel Mac and are using a non-universal version, it will run slow.

As for Flash running slow, that is not my experience. It runs just great on mine.

It's pretty well known that flash sucks in OS X. After a lot of testing, I'm 100% sure that Safari beta 3 runs flash sites a lot better than Firefox. Also you should download the Flash beta player http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer9/ . It runs even better with Safari, and according to the release notes, it increases performance in OS X.

I have a 1.3 Ghz Powerbook G4 and have had the same problems you described.

I recently used a program called "Safari Speed".

Safari now runs flash programs without and slowdown.

    Hope this helps!!!
