I think this is the best streaming format to deliver your media on the net for the sole reason that 99% of web browsers will play it. That eliminates the problem alot of viewers experience of which player to download or not having the current player version.

    You'll need a high-speed connection to view.

It's definitely the best one to use but honestly, it can be a little harrowing to get it going correctly. Once you get it figured out it is very cool. I just really got a handle on it and now I am using it on my blog...

You're right. It's more tricky to encode properly and set up. That's probably why it's not used as much.

It's truth that flash streaming is enough good. But on mine it depends as well on the "companies" to which you address. Not from all you can receive 100 %-s streaming.
Interestingly to whom you have addressed for flash streaming

Well here for example I have addressed to flashwebtown.com and with them I quite happy, because they gives you an opportunity to quickly and easily deliver your media content over the Internet. It is a free service and requires nothing more than a computer and an Internet connection.

    Live Flash Streaming from Mac?

As you all seem to be knowledgeable on the topic, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Do you know how to stream a live video feed as a Flash Stream? We have the Flash media streaming server, and the ability to capture, but don't know what software we need to use to encode on-the-fly and stream out to our server. Any help would be extremely appreciated! Too bad Adobe's Flash Media Encoder is only for PC!

    Using Flash CS3 (caution)

Flash CS3 is an excellent program but be careful when creating video player components cause most web browsers are not yet adept to the new
actionscript 3. This applies to both Mac and PC's.
