Regarding the black screen issues, kernel panics and occasional freezings upon wake, I'm curious. After the EFI update I still had these problems (on an already replaced 11" from the apple store). But as soon as I uninstalled flash, they disappeared.. Anyone else with this apparently "rare" issue notice this?

Never had any of those issues with my new 13-inch.
I recommend all users grab the latest beta version of Flash: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/ and also...
I also recommend users install a Flash-blocking extension for their browser:
Firefox: FlashBlock (for Firefox)
Chrome: FlashBlock (for Chrome)
Safari: ClickToFlash
Opera: Flashblock for Opera
^ That way you will only load Flash one instance at a time, and only for things that you want to load.

I don't know if you're aware, but ClickToFlash has been further updated as a Safari extension. You should really try it out - check out under Preferences > Extensions. I believe it's written in HTML5 and/or Javascript, but it's now multiplatform (I'm using it on Windows, finally!)
