Hello all. I am looking for some software to make flashCards - those cards used for revision at school with question on one side and answer on the back. I ususally use index cards and write it on. I was wanting to know if there was any mac app or software to do this on my mac?

With many students using macs there must be something out there

    Many thanks

I use Anki. Originally designed for Japanese flash cards, but it can accommodate any topic.

That is great. Much appreciated. Can you print them off too?

Not that I've seen. It's focused on computer-based presentation and has an algorithm for determining what cards you need practice on. You can export the cards as tab-delimited files, which can be opened in Excel.

Also, if you hit up MRoogle and search on flash cards you'll find a few other threads like this one with other suggestions.
