Its the 256gb model. Is it worth $800? Its till got warranty until 10/15 and its completely flawless. Never been serviced either. What say the group?

$800?

it goes for $1149+tax on refurb site with 1 yr.

if you're buying, do it! if you're selling, don't (imo). adjust accordingly.

probably more like $900-950 assuming we are talking US here...

Are you buying or selling?

Depends on the area you live in if buying via Craigslist, but that model is selling for more than that on eBay, typically right around $1000 if not slightly less.

Im buying one for that. I've seen pics of every inch of it, and Im meeting the guy in a few minutes to see it in person. And if its as flawless as he says, I have cash on hand. I thought it was a good idea seeing as how the 2015 with the 256gb storage is like $1499. with tax added, this one will be half the price.

I sold mine last week (same specs) for $1400 (Canadian). Granted, it had AppleCare.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Make sure the owner has his invoice from Apple for it though...

It is in possession and is as flawless as said. Man Im lucky on this one. Its so much nicer than my mid2012 air....lol I love it.

What a steal... How did you find this deal?

Friend of a friend's wife had it forsale, and I saw them post it online on a specialist forum. Grabbed it right up. Im blowing it back to factory right now. I have it connected to my work Wifi (802.11AC) and its connected at 600mbps. WOW. And thats only 40mhz channels. Im the net engineer of the building. I can see it on the controller and its the fastest device online right now, out of the 3600 total we have currently.

So I spent all night getting this setup, and man Im happy. Talk about a deal, and its just awesome. Im going to throw my MBA in the garbage. This is the greatest packaged laptop I have ever used. So snappy and the wireless AC is phenomenal. Happy rMBP user here.

$800 is a good deal. I have watched a lot of auctions on ebay and cowboom and they usually sell between $900 and $1000.
I paid $900 for my late 2013 three weeks ago.

Yeah I cant believe I scored this. Now I need to see what games I should get from the app store to showcase this awesome system. I was thinking Civ V and Simcity 4 to start. They are cheap. Also I have to get Office for Mac unless there is a much better program to use for excel and word docs. Anyone have any ideas?

No but I work for a school district and have a .org email...lol

I also work for a school district, and it works with my non .edu e-mail address. Worth a shot! It's a great deal - like z31fanatic says, It's 5 full installs, plus up to 5 tablet installs, I do believe. Excellent deal from Microsoft.
