FYI - that was an iOS issue from my understanding. I believe Apple is now (as of 8.1.1) allowing the keyboard to live on the RAM once it is opened so doesn't get bumped off and require reloading and the issues like you mentioned as a result.

That's really interesting. Can anyone else confirm? I tried them out too at the start but the buginess kept me away.

Anyone Here have a solution to type on the iPhone 6 plus with one hand?

That "a" key is too far lol

I wish there was a gesture where you could swipe on the standard keyboard to either the right or left with your thumb and move the keyboard over to that side of the screen, smaller, more like the size of the old iPhone. Then you could more easily one handed type. There also needs to be a split keyboard in landscape, as those stupid side buttons that I hardly use get in the way, and the center buttons are a little bit of a reach. I made a thread a while back where I posted my split keyboard mockup, and here is the link to that thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1800611/

huh i've seen a lot of kids these days with mustaches. i think the trend is coming back!

Idk. I'm a 20-something and don't see many people with mustaches, unless they're hand in hand with a beard. By themselves they're just... yuck. The worst is when someone just can't grow one but they have it anyway and... ugh.

Fleksy for iOS Used to Set New World Record for Fastest Touch-Screen Text Message Typing

MacRumors believes what's inside a tv ad? (Amateurish made video spot btw.) I don't even believe what's in the political news in tv—let alone advertisings.

Wait, doesn't a predictive keyboard kinda defeat the purpose of a typing record?

Not to mention that the software could easily be tweaked (or trained) to predict the entire "standard test message."

We'll eventually come to the point where our smartphones will be smart enough to figure out exactly what we want to say without doing anything.
