Flexible Top Cover On Unibody MacBook?

i was just cleaning finger prints and scuff marks off of my macbook's aluminum body and noticed how flexible the top cover is when closed. if i push down slightly on the macbook, close to the apple logo while it it closed, it moves quite a bit... it resumed shape afterwards of course, but is this normal? do other owners experience the same thing? i'm kinda surprised by this.

Yup, mine flexes a little bit. Not a good idea to do it though as it puts pressure on the backside of the LCD/backlighting.

yeah its normal. Don't push down on it too hard or you might cave it in and you'd be screwed.. 😀

Yeah, my does it too. I don't know why I didn't notice it before. Anyway, I love the damn thing!!!!
