Flickering of Mouse Cursor

Hello.

I'm currently running on 10.5.7 Leopard OSX. iMac.

Recently I've been experiencing the flickering of the mouse cursor when Firefox is switched open.

I've cleaned the Mighty Mouse thoroughly and I suspect it's a s/w problem, rather than a hardware problem.

Any solutions to rectify this issue? 😕

PS: Whenever I enter Spaces mode on the Mouse, it would close back in whenever I clicked on it!
