Hi, I have been noticing that when I power on my iPhone 4S I see what looks like a dead pixel flickering briefly on the screen.

It happens when the screen goes to that silver apple logo w/black background. It happens very briefly (1sec or less) and it seems to appear on random locations. I tested my screen for dead pixels but I couldn't find any. It seems it only occurs when powering it on.

Has anyone noticed this on theirs?

Hi,

I have not noticed this with me but I do find sometimes minor errors in some Apple Products so what I would recommend doing is contacting Apple and checking if they have fix, also make sure Apple knows the error exists.

As for me this has happened with me sometimes in previous products from apple and when I contact Apple they sometimes just record the issue exists and they tell me to ignore it then eventually if many have the problem you will find a fix will come out for it

Yes. Why does this happen on some devices?
