Flickering Screen / Dark Screen

Hi,

At the moment my screen is "only" flickering, though some days it turns off completely. Macbook 2.4 Core 2 Duo, 2008 model.

External monitor works fine – so it's NOT the graphics card.
I just changed the inverter cable AND the inverter board.

What else could it be???
