Hi,

I was just wondering what i can do with the photos I uploaded on to Flickr before i bought my Mac and Aperture. How would i edit them if i wanted to. Since these weren't uploaded from Aperture, they're not in Aperture...well they are 'cause i recently imported most of them freshly from my external hard drive but they're not connected or sync with flickr. I take it flickr doesn't somehow "back-sync" with Aperture. Even if this is was possible it will obviously duplicate data as they weren't originally imported through aperture. Bottom line, if i want to edit them, do i basically have to just start over from flickr and just delete the stuff currently on flickr?

Cheers,

Go to your Flickr account and download the original size of the photos you want to add to Aperture. Store them in a folder if you want. Keep it on your Desktop.
Open aperture and select Import. In the lower window you will see a navigation thingy. See the screenshot. Uncheck the ones you don't want to import and hit the Import button. You will probably have to drag them into one project after you are done.

Dale
