Quick question for those using FileVault. I had Filevault encryption turned on previously, and I was surprised that when I installed Yosemite, it had to re-encrypt my drive. Does that mean an install can instantly decrypt my drive, such that it would need to be re-encrypted? Does anyone have insight on how this works?
