Flip4Mac and error -50

Can anyone tell me if they have encountered this problem and what to do about it please?
All of a sudden Flip4 Mac is refusing to open windows media files. Files I have opened and converted in it to .mov files in the past are now just showing up as a black screen on Quicktime. I have Pro Flip4 Mac and Pro Quicktime and am using Tiger.
Looked around the web a bit but can find no solution. Tried fixing permissions.
Anyone help here?
