    Hello there,

I just joined here today. I got a problem with my MacBook pro. The problem is Flip4Mac is not working in Firefox. I downloaded and installed it but it's not even loading in the browser? Any ideas?

In other words, Windows Media Video (.wmv) files won't play in Firefox?

Could you provide an example link for others with a similar configuration to try?

Btw, what QT, Firefox, Mac OS X and Flip4Mac versions do you use?

I assumed, you using Firefox meant, that you can't play any streaming .wmv content on some websites. Thus my request for an example link to one of those websites, that give you a problem.

None of them works. I even tried what Mozilla suggests. This page http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/testpages/wmp11.html

It also says on the page, that it is made for Windows XP/Vista, maybe that is the reason that page does not work.

Not only that page. None of wmv streaming sites are working.

The porn industry really needs to use a different streaming platform. :p ;)

    you can Try this

Mac OSX unix underpinnings do all sorts of maintenance on reboot. When things go "kerflewy" (technical term) reboot is a first step to make sure it's just some aspect of the OS that needs some internal maintenance. Glad if it's working for you.
