Last month. I had to use the floppy drive at work on the severely out of date PC I have to use (I'm a teacher). They are updating the computer for some new programs and I had to save all the files on the computer to floppy because, of course, no CD burner and the process of saving it on the server was intolerably long.

maybe the improved floppy disk drivers were (was / is drivers singular or plural,anyway...) among the 150+ new and improved features in Panther, and one that Apple didn't make any sort of big deal about... weird. :) anyhow the difference is dramatic, and I'm happy to be beyond Jaguar.
