But I didn't write something to those words, so your patent doesn't apply in this case.

Check patent law, what's in the round brackets are functionality only, doesn't have to be exact.

The biggest patent infringements come from overseas. Fight them first.
Laws are different, you can't win if it's not granted and closely inforced in that country.

There's no requirement to implement the feature themselves.

Plenty of inventors come up with ideas that others license and implement. Perhaps even the majority, since most people cannot afford to create factories themselves.

Yeah, speaking of memes... that's not what they looked like out of the box. They weren't even the same size. And Android doesn't display the app drawer unless you ask. It was more like this:

So?

Would you like me to show some later versions, where the screens are even more identical?

a product to rewind and turn on CC?

calling 'rewind' 15 seconds a feature is a little bit of a stretch though.

Right. Its almost like suing a Roku remote. You can rewind 10 seconds and has option to turn on captions. Look out Roku
See little curved arrow? 10 second rewind feature.

If Roku did both automatically, then yes Roku would need a license .

But it doesn't. So all the talk about being "almost" the same, is moot.

And you don't see that's insane that you can patent something like that?

In that post, I simply stated that having "rewind" and "CC" by themselves were NOT the same as the patented "rewind + automatic CC".

In other posts, I've easily predicted that Apple will challenge the validity of the patent because of obviousness.

Hmm, can I patent the Stop + TV Off button combo? I will make a fortune
