For those of you who use the Fluid SSB with Facebook... is there a way to have it display badges in the Dock icon? Fluid claims that this is possible but it won't work for me.

Update...I found an applescript that supposedly can do this, but I'm totally unfamiliar with scripts. Any advice?

I'm trying to do the same thing.

Can anyone help?

Also, I'm trying to find a png of the facebook icon for iPhone (so I can use it on the fluid app, everything I've found on google images comes close, but still not the icon i need)

Thanks.

Here's the one I use: http://csi.nfshost.com/goodies/

Sorry about the long reply, somehow I deleted notifications for this thread. And I still haven't found a way to add badges to the icon! :(

You can have dock badges show up by using a userscript from userscripts.org

Step 1: Open Preferences (cmd+,)
Step 2: Click Show All, And then click General
-Make sure "Fluid attempts to show Dock badge labels" is checked
Step 3: From the Script Menu at the top (the script icon) choose browse Userscripts.org
Step 4: on Userscripts.org search "facebook fluid"
Step 5: click the script you want, I chose "Facebook Dock Badges - Inbox & Notifications" on the subsequent page click the big "Install" button.

Accept all the following stuff, and restart your Fluid app.

I can confirm that this works for me. (Make sure you have the latest Fluid)
