Hi, I have been trying to use fluid to create a browser for a specific site and every time I click on a link it automatically opens in my default browser. I would really like it to open in fluid because that is the point of the app, to have a site-specific browser. How to I make links open in fluid?

Fluid is not a Web Browser

I realize this is an old post, so to the author, please disregard this reply if you have discovered the answer to your concern.

Fluid App is NOT a web browser. It is an application that turns url's into desktop applications. It's default function is to utilize your default browser to open the url's.

If anyone knows of a way to get links to open in a different browser, other than the Mac OSX default browser, please post it.

The above line in red should read, "It's default function is to utilize a tiny browser (SSB: Site Specific Browser) to open url's."
The fluid app browser removes common browser functions (such as those in Safari, Firefox, or Chrome), so that the website is the primary screen real estate holder.

    URL opening preferences in Fluid

I had the same problem as above but realized that my settings for the Fluid app restricted browsing outside of the domain I'd set for the SSB.

Just go to Settings -> Advanced and choose "Allow browsing to any URL" and that should fix it.
